Abruzzo in central Italy is maybe not so well known but it does have a steady and increasing interest amongst those looking for a home in Italy.We work in the province of Teramo, one of the areas between mountains and sea that offers all the best of Abruzzo,with good schools,good climate and good infrastructure. It is the province that is easiest to get to via the Abruzzo Airport ,Ancona Airport or Roma Ciampino.
NEWS NEWS NEWS New rules that will concern people purchasing property here regarding the amount of cash that can be paid out ... there are new rules that mean that no payments of over euro 5000 can be made in this way ...also that all checks that are written have to be non transferable if over euro 5000 and if under that amount have to have your code fiscale included ... these rules should be kept within and there is no advantage to the purchaser in not following them but definite penalties if not followed... so any suggestions of large cash payments are illegal, your withdrawals in that sense will be signaled by the banks to the relevant government agency and you will most probabley end up having to explain where and on what the money was spent... it is just not worth it to the purchaser to get caught up in this sort of hassle...
